Week 8 training plan- 12/13 to 12/20

  • Continue frisbee, jogs, weightpull. Frisbee- 4-6 throws. Jogs- several short ones during walks. Weight- pull 1 cobblestone (about 10 pounds) in sled, 2 pulls, lots of happy praise.
  • Continue trades and 'drop' daily for cookies.
  • Remove temptation to be grabby by reminding to sit quicker and keep items like leashes away.
  • Mouthiness- timeouts or redirect to red tug.
  • Daily short car rides (around block) in crate with fleece pad.

  • Start with feeding and chews in his room- give it to him, close crate door, sit with him while he has it.
